The Hanover Unity Council was formed in 2020 in response to an increasingly divisive local and global community. We are a non-partisan group of Hanover residents committed to engaging youth and adult community members alike to foster the spirit of inclusion and acceptance. The Hanover Unity Council welcomes input from any individual committed to these goals.

*Advocate for anti-racist education and action

*Have thoughtful, productive dialogue on the local level

*Champion an environment of diversity and open-mindedness

*Live in solidarity with marginalized populations

*Increase awareness of bias and issues related to diversity

*Engage with fellow citizens through productive conversations and events
